Hashtagging In Your Caption
While hashtags are indeed essential for someone looking to gain more followers and build their brand, this obnoxious way of going about it is to be avoided. Over-tagging in your caption (one or two tongue-in-cheek ones are fine) is way too in-your-face, and will transfer over if you choose to share the picture on Facebook or Twitter. Not a good look. Instead, copy and paste the hashtags into a comment on your post, that way you can reap the benefits but easily delete them later.
