Better Than Ezra
When did you guys get here?
Better Than Ezra: Couple hours ago, from San Diego. It’s been a pretty arduous past few days. We started Friday in San Francisco, L.A. Saturday, Anaheim, Sunday, San Diego Monday, and now we’re here. But, when you’ve been on the road supporting an album you get used to the “tour legs” and what would normally just kick your ass. The hardest part is maintaining the voice – so the alcohol needs to be limited.
How do you like being in the city?
BTE: It’s our first time in Brooklyn! We’ve been to NYC before but never really in Brooklyn. We love New York and all of our friends who still live here seem to have moved to Brooklyn.
What are your favorite spots in the city?
BTE: Well, shopping. APC in Soho, Scotch and Soda and this new company called Jack’s – oh and of course Uniqlo. And, while we’re right there we can go to Café Habana. We used to like going to Pastis, too. Oh, and the new one, Tao. It’s so “hipster-cool”.
