Describe a typical day in those crazy weeks leading up to Fashion Week and your presentation? How do you prepare for a show?
Preparing for a show is like planning a big wedding. It is very time consuming, super stressful, and many characters participate so the orchestration of it all is key. Organization and thoroughness is very important. A typical day these days starts at 7 am and ends at midnight. I juggle many variables ranging from fittings in the sample room to dyeing at the dyer lab to casting models and confirming fittings at my own studio. Meanwhile, I am fielding communication with PR, sales, stylist, hair and makeup artists, music DJ, location, and locations setup. And this is just a small list!
