What would like to see different in the art world?
The Art-World is in the throes of change. It’s trying to figure out what the music industry figured out 5-6 years ago. The industry has changed, technology has changed, the idea of being an “Artist” has changed. The economics of the art world however has changed very little.
I don’t know where this change should come from. I don’t think it will come from the artists, nor the consumers.
What do you find exciting in art right now?
The intersection of Art and Technology. My work at SCOPE NYC last year was my first foray into that field. I’m pushing to explore that synergy more now.
