Interview: Haute Brunch With LAVO Executive Chef John Deloach

Daylife is bigger than ever. Brunch has become a big deal in the nightlife community. What do you think separates LAVO’s incarnation from the rest? For us it’s about hospitality. We always put the guest’s experience first. When they come in they are part of the LAVO family. There is a lot of energy. We go all out. We don’t hold anything back. We just do the party better. When I go upstairs to the dining room after we’re done serving food, it blows me away. I can’t believe it goes on the way it does. Ok, one last question. The world is coming to an end tomorrow. It’s your last day on earth. What would your last meal be? (Laughing) I don’t know what I would want but I do know I would want it to be with my friends and family at LAVO.
