How did you make the leap from Google to Gertrude?
I quit (laughs). After that, I partnered with a close friend who comes from the art world as an art advisor and independent curator. I was always fascinated by art as well. I started to collect, I started to meet artists and be introduced to galleries, and I saw a great opportunity. I also think there are a lot of things you can learn from startups and technology which you can apply in a smart way to different fields. That’s what we are trying to do to the beautiful art world.
