Interview: Up&Down's Team On NYC's Hottest New Club, Their Incredible NYFW Run & The New Golden Age In Nightlife

You had a ton of major NYFW parties including Jeremy Scott, Prabal Gurung, Rag & Bone, and Galore Magazine - what was that week like?

RF: (laughs) EK: The crazy part is we did our opening, and then we pretty much had two days off [before Fashion Week]. Do you want to continue to focus on working with fashion brands? EK: A lot of it is personal relationships, as all nightlife is. Of course we want to keep that relationship alive. This space and what nightlife is, is like an incubator, and a place where we can support that community. Was there a defining moment when you realized the club was a success? RF: The honest truth is that we were all running on adrenaline. I think we were like this is amazing, we're killing it, but then the reality hits when you realize you've got to back that up.
