Last night Elle magazine’s Kate Davidson Hudson & Joann Pailey, along with Edit New York’s Valerie Feigen and Alissa Emerson gathered at Edit New York’s Upper East Side boutique to honor designer Jason Wu. The jewel box of a store was packed to the racks with uptown socials and downtown cool-girls munching on tuna tartar and sipping on Moet.-
The fashionistas flitting through, shopping for the new spring looks, included photographers Poppy de Villeneuve and Frances Tulk-Hart, FOX Strategy Room’s Kimberly Guilfoyle, Bloomberg TVs Gigi Stone, designers Sang A and Elise Overland, Becka Diamond, Antonia Thompson, Sabine Heller, Robert Burke, Chessy Wilson, Kate Schelter, Annie Churchill and Dalia Oberlander. Elle's Robbie Meyers and Carol Smith eyed an ivory Joseph shift dress...we're not sure who got to take it home. We overheard Lauren Goodman talking to Jason Wu about the opening of his new studio this Thursday while Donata Minelli and Edit Co-Owner Alissa Emerson showed off their uber-stylish tots--Alissa's Annabelle just back from Paris shows!Other chatter centered around Micheal Lewis' new book "The Big Short" in which both Edit New York and Valerie Feigen have a prominent role. Turns out Feigen's husband Steve Eisman stars in the account of how America's economy was driven off the cliff. Party-wise there's more to come: Edit is throwing a bash for Lewis tomorrow night.
