Lady Gaga was honored with a Fashion Icon Award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards last night at Lincoln Center.   To celebrate, she head to the after party at the Top of the Standard where she borrowed Nicki Minaj's green wig, put on some nipple pasties, and sung a duet with the legendary Patti Labelle.

The pair performed "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," and "Poker Face." Stan D'Arde, of the Standard Hotel blog, writes: "There are very few moments when I step back from my world, and think “Okay…it doesn’t get better than this.”"

During her acceptance speech earlier in the night Gaga told the well heeled crowd "All of you made me feel like a star before I was," before going on to discuss how important fashion is in her life as a pathway to self-discovery, artistry and confidence. "As much as this award means to me personally ... I just want you to know how much this means to young Americans," she said in closing.

Here is what she wore to the event. No wonder she changed out of those shoes.
