The site for martinis for the Gossip Girl cast as well as temporary employment for Madonna before she reached her star status, The Russian Tea Room has long been a place for celebrities, writers, and performers.
Movie Scene: In the 1982 movie "Tootsie," Dustin Hoffman takes on the identity of a woman in order to salvage his acting career. One of the most famous scenes in the comedy (pictured left) was filmed at the Russian Tea Room.
