What a guy. Not only is he arguably the best rapper in the game right now, K-Dot also does what he can for his hometown of Compton. Last year, the California Senate honored him for his "hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations" to after school sports, music, and art programs in South Central, Los Angeles. Holding it down for his city in the booth and in the real world, Kendrick is an inspiration to people everywhere. Senator Isadore Hall III called Kendrick a hero, citing that “Mr. Lamar has not only given voice to a new generation of urban youth, he is demonstrating the best of what it means to work hard, do well and give back to his community." He's also sick live, so there's that.
