Eerily reminiscent of the Zombies and the Kinks, Los Angeles' Allah-Las combine that salty, garage rock sound with their hometown feels. The product: breezy and shimmery songs, like a July sunset on the beach. The band is on the cusp of their third studio album release, dropping September 9th on Mexican Summer records. They're really good, and songs like "Catamaran" are hip shakers so things could get a little muddy during their set. Fully love it.
