Obviously, the most important thing about Catalpa is the music. The line-up is extremely eclectic and is separated by relative genres, for those with certain preferences. Day 1 is more Rock/Indie and features The Black Keys as the headliner and opening acts include, TV On the Radio, Umphrey's McGee, Hercules and Love Affair, Zola Jesus, Felix the House Cat,The Sheep Dogs, Fort Atlantic, The Demos, The Aviation Orange, My Pet Dragon, JDH & Dave P.
Music: Day 2
Day 2 is reserved for those interested in the more pop indie/hip-hop/EDM genres. Snoop Dogg has been announced as the headliner, playing the album Doggystyle. Opening for Snoop are Girl Talk, Matt and Kim, A$AP Rocky, Cold War Kids, Matisyahu, City And Color, AraabMUZIK, Dirty Heads, Hook N' Sling, The Big Pink, Polish Ambassador, Aunt Martha, Hellfire Machina, and The Airplane Boys.
