Hofbrauhaus - Munich
In 1589, Duke Wilhelm V of Bavaria loved beer so much that he decided to open his own private Royal brewery down the street from his estate in Munich. To this day, the Hofbrauhaus am Platzl in Munich continues to serve only the highest quality beer and traditional Bavarian food.
It was a favorite haunt of Mozart and the location of Nazi party political meetings and declarations. In 1920, Hitler famously declared the twenty-five thesis of the National Socialist Program that converted the German Workers' Party into the National Socialist German Workers' Party (aka the Nazi Party).
