Since debuting this summer, Ian Schrager's Lower East Side hotel has gained plenty of notoriety, from sexy guests gettin' it on in the windows, to playing host to one of the wildest (and most coveted) bashes of Fashion Week. But with A-list stars and major performers (Patti Smith christened the space on its opening night) making the rounds, it seems Public isn't quieting down anytime soon. The subterranean Public Arts, which boasts heavy red curtains on stage, industrial balconies, and lush VIP areas, has been our go-to dance scene for months.
