Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel
Overview: The Diamond Horseshoe is the one venue on this list that is still yet to reveal itself, in either a public or private manner, but when it finally does it's going to make some noise. The Diamond Horseshoe was originally one of the most popular New York clubs from the 1930's to the 50's before closing down. Even Andy Warhol was a frequenter during it's peak. Now real estate mogul Aby Rosen is partnering up with Randy Weiner of "Sleep No More" to bring the club back to life, so it's bound to be a unique experience for guests. The club is slated to open before the end of the year, but until then, the parties at Rosen's Paramount Hotel mezzanine have still been a ray of light in a dull Midtown nightlife scene.
Location: 235 W 46th St (at Paramount Hotel)

Insider's Scorecard: The parties we've been to at the Paramount Hotel give us plenty of reasons to be excited for its actual club. Everything about the hotel is both retro and modern at the same time, from the architecture of the building to the dark and textural decor inside. On the second floor there's an event space and restaurant, but guests end up cavorting throughout the mezzanine, overlooking the lobby. Aby Rosen celebrated the launch of the hotel this year with a birthday bash which boasted Bono, Olivier Theyskens, and Nicky Hilton on the guest list. Most recently the hotel was the site of the Global Citizens Concert after-party, which drew the likes of Amy Sacco, Gerard Butler, Michael Pitt, and more. With a record like that, we can't wait to see what Diamond Horseshoe will offer.
