New York Junior Tennis & Learning
New York Junior Tennis & Learning (NYJTL), founded in 1971 by Arthur Ashe, provides tennis instruction and after school programming to 75,000 children per year on public courts throughout all five boroughs. This June, NYJTL opened its flagship center, the $26.5 million state-of-the-art Cary Leeds Center, with 20 courts (and two exhibition courts to open in 2016).
The academic and recreational Center provides free instruction and after school programming and homework help. If you're interested in learning more about NYJTL, visit www.nyjtl.org.
