Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women

Horrifying statistics reveal that American Indian and Alaska Native women were five times as likely to have experienced physical violence by an interracial romantic partner than non-Hispanic white women, and that more than one in two have experienced sexual violence. This award-winning org has provided resources for training, advocate support, technical assistance and policy advocacy to further develop and promote tribal, federal, state and local legislation, and policies that cultivate best-practices for responding to violent crimes against Native women and children.
