The Frick Collection Young Fellows Ball
As every Park Avenue Princess knows, the Frick Collection Young Fellows Ball is absolutely
the event of the season, with proceeds to benefit the Frick’s Art Reference Library, and free art education initiatives across all five boroughs.
The New York Times agrees, ranking it one of the “most memorable” parties of the year. It’s easy to see why—champagne and caviar, top hats and tails! Each year brings a new theme to this mansion-turned-museum: 2011's “Bal de Chinoiserie” featured a garden of cherry blossoms, Ginger Dragon cocktails, and an array of hors d’oeuvres by Olivier Cheng. Between bites, guests admired paintings that complimented the evening's Asiatic theme. Attendees included
Olivia Chantecaille, Blair Husain,
Tinsley Mortimer, and
Rachel Roy. If Cinderella lived in New York, this is the ball she’d crash. And without a handsome prince, she’d have to. (It's invitation only.)
