Marlton Hotel

Marlton Hotel
Why: The Marlton Hotel is part of the wave of destinations popping up in the reinvigorated area of Greenwich Village between 5th and 6th Avenue. The hotel, formerly known as the Marlton House, was famously home to Beat Generation poets Jack Kerouac and Neil Cassady, as well as actors Julie Andrews and Mickey Rourke at various points in their careers. Now the Parisian-influenced space will once again breathe life into the neighborhood, which has recently sprouted hip and fashionable spots like Omar's and Greenwich Project.
