Viceroy New York

Viceroy New York
Why: For every Downtown, scene-making hotel there's also an extravagant, upscale counterpart Uptown, but the new Viceroy New York seeks to bring the two worlds together. The hotel sits among the grand buildings of 57th street, and has an opulence to match. Rooms have unparalleled views of the skyline and Central Park, the interior was designed by Roman and Williams, who did the Ace and the Standard, and the Marc Murphy-headed restaurant Kingside opens this week. The rooftop bar will be a major midtown attraction when it opens, and unlike neighboring buildings, the hotels windows will be lit up all night. It's definitely a luxury hotel, but with enough energy to truly illuminate Midtown. Where: 120 W 57th St Viceroy New York [Photo via]
