Once you've not-so-casually hinted at being acquaintances with one or more of the Real Housewives of New York (any other city would be gauche so don't even), all the right people may remember your face and let you slide past the doorgirl and into the social soirée of the night. You'll have to do this often enough to earn your own profile on BFA or Guest of a Guest. Eventually your Google results will be nothing but photos of you schmoozing, which is exactly what you're after.
