Soho House Murder Scandal
The only thing more shocking than the murder of Sylvie Cachay, a young, beautiful, and talented fashion designer, was that it took place in the members-only boutique hotel, Soho House. Cachay was described by friends as generous, compassionate, and driven; her relationship with on-again-off-again boyfriend Nicholas Brooks, on the other hand, was universally noted as tumultuous and out of character. So, when Cachay's body was discovered in an overflowing bathtub, after checking into Soho House with Brooks, it was no mystery to investigators who the culprit was. So much for Soho House being one of NYC's most sought after bikini-worthy bars.
