Now abandoned and located under the Waldorf-Astoria hotel, this subway station smells of dust and mystery: the perfect place to ponder upon conspiracy theories. Legends say track 61 was used to transport presidents secretly and to carry out other clandestine activities. Although it is now largely blocked off to public access, you can try pulling some strings to visit it but that may cost you more than $2.75. Some believe the track is still used for mysterious purposes... tatataaa!
