Sleep No More

Sleep No More

Sleep No More is an interactive performance, which takes place in an immense warehouse in Chelsea's McKittrick Hotel. Before reaching a strange bar, you are given a 'room key.' When you are done drinking and getting ready for what is to come...you are provided with a white mask, which you will wear for the next three hours as you move through the different floors of the gigantic warehouse. Every single room is decorated with so much precision that you may feel as if trespassing into the past. You can sit on a bed as you watch a performer shuffling through mysterious papers at her desk, walk through an empty cemetery, or stumble upon weird laboratories, creepy dorm rooms, or baby dolls hanging from the ceiling of a child's bedroom. You may find yourself alone in a room, reading over imaginary patients' psychological reports, until a performer casually comes out of a closet or runs in followed by a crowd of people in white masks. You may even be one of the 'chosen' audience members and take the interactive experience to the next level... Don't try to stay in a group, abandon your tourist friends and wander alone for a surreal adventure.
