Shakespeare In The Park

Enjoy some verse and prose for free in beautiful Central Park this summer with The Public Theatre’s masterful renditions of Julius Caesar and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Performed in the Delacorte Theatre that is bang splat in the middle of Central Park at 81st Street. There is a catch though, you have to wait in line for an hour or so in Central Park for the free ticket, but the waiting is not all that bad if you bring some snacks and a friend or two. The Public Theatre now has a digital lottery where you can win tickets for the show if you can’t wait in line.

What: Free Shakespeare in The Park

Where: The Delacorte Theatre

When:  A Midsummer Night’s Dream running from July 11th through to August 13th.
