SmorgasBar is a seasonal outdoor eating and drinking space along the South Street Seaport. The market and beer garden hosts roughly a dozen vendors, which will change every two weeks, as well as two full bars at either end of the block.
The first set of vendors for opening day over Memorial Day Weekend included Asia Dog, Blue Marble Ice Cream, Brooklyn Oyster Party, Landhaus, Red Hook Lobster Pound, and more. Started as an effort to revitalize the area after Hurricane Sandy, Smorgasbar is set to run every day until October. Hurry over this summer!
