Washington Square Park
The beating heart of the downtown scene, Washington Square Park was just as much of a bustling boho gathering spot in the '60s as it is for hipsters and NYU undergrads today. The singer enjoyed many a Sunday afternoon taking in the park performers and strolling with his fellow folk star, Joan Baez.
