Nothing is worse than schlepping what feels like, 80lbs of plastic tubs and 1000 hangers down 6th Ave and then lugging them on the subway or trying to cram it all in the back of a cab. Bed, Bath, & Beyond, The Container Store, West Elm, and Ikea can all deliver/build your purchases in your dorm, apartment, or hotel room. Definitely flip through their catalog or take spin on their website before you venture into the physical store. Even if you don’t go in with an itemized list, it'll cut your shopping time in half if you have some sort of an idea of the things you want.
