A career-driven man is sexy. A workaholic is not. The token "career man"--whether he's a big shot on Wall Street or a struggling actor--will always make work his top priority. He'll say a lot of wonderful things, but will rarely back them up with actions. He'll also speaks almost exclusively in the future tense when referring to your relationship, because right now he's "just too busy with work."
