Beekman Beer Garden
Head to the southern most tip of the island for Manhattan's most expansive al fresco drinking venue. The Beekman Beer Garden occupies the former Water Taxi Beach and offers up a lot more than brews (although there are more than enough lagers and ales to keep beer fiends happy.) There are menu offering from Jason Mayer, formerly Buddakan's chef, as well as plenty of concerts and events. Even on nights when nothing big is planned, guests can check out the two driftwood bars, billiards, and ample dance space - not to mention the breathtaking, riverside views.
