Man ships self to Texas in a crate
Man mails himself from NYC to Texas
In 2003, Charles McKinley shipped himself in a crate from New York to Texas in order to save money. He billed the $550 shipping fees to his employer.
McKinley was only discovered at the end of the journey as he crawled out of the crate. Ironically for the same fee he could have flown first class and saved himself from 15 hours of no food and water.
