Other details: On Thursday, Housing Works presented New York City’s most popular interior design benefit event at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea. Design on a Dime featured more than 50 of the world’s top interior designers, who created unforgettable room vignettes with new merchandise, which were donated and then sold for 50 to 70 percent off retail pricing. Guests got the first public look at the room vignettes and enjoyed exclusive preview shopping, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment. The event was led by Design on a Dime Founding Chair James Huniford, along with Co-Chairs Michael Boodro, Editor-in-Chief of ELLE DECOR, Kevin Harter, Vice President of Fashion Direction for Men's, Home, and Online at Bloomingdale's, George Oliphant, host of NBS's George to the Rescue, and Sabrina Soto, interior designer and host of HGTV's The High/Low Project.
