Other details: Hyundai and Skybound, Kirkman's imprint at Image Comics, toasted ten years of "The Walking Dead" with a private New York Comic-Con VIP party on Friday night at gallery Pillar37. The space showcased illustrations from the comic curated by former editorial director Sina Grace, memorabilia including foreign first editions, action figures, lunch boxes, and artifacts from the eponymous television series such as scripts with hand written notes from Kirman and props. A Hyundai’s Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine, a custom car designed by fan Anson Kuo, was also on display. The evening started with the premiere screening of "10 Years of The Walking Dead," a documentary that chronicles the evolution of the most popular zombie franchise from the comic book to the TV show to the video game.
