Where: SVA Theater / Up&Down
Other details: Guests took shelter from last night's brief but torrential downpour as they huddled into the packed SVA Theater to get the first look at the highly anticipated second season of HBO's Vice TV. Executive producer Eddy Moretti greeted the partially soaked crowed, and guided them through the gut-wrenching themes of the first two episodes which included "Afghan Money Pit", "The Pacification of Rio", "Greenland is Melting", and "Bonded Labor". Despite some minor technical difficulties during the Bonded Labor segment, that led to the video temporarily cutting out, the crowd applauded loudly and genuinely as they departed the theater.
Guests then headed downtown to Up & Down for Maestro Dobel margaritas and the chance to chat hard-hitting issues with Eddy Moretti, Vice TV Host Thomas Morton and others. As the night wore on the mood noticeably lightened over dancing and celebration.
