Other details: Last night, the hair salon Blackstones held a party to celebrate the expansion of their East Village outpost. Guests entered and greeted owner Joe Silvestera before helping themselves to Stella Artois and mini-bottles of the sparkling wine Freixenet. Legendary DJ and nightclub owner Paul Sevigny provided rock tunes, all on vinyl, before Interpol front-man Paul Banks took over to play old school hip-hop.
