The Standard Hotel vs. MADE Fashion Week/Tonsil Hockey Game

Who was there: Guests included Mazdack Rassi, Rush Zimmerman, Theophilus London, Joey Jalleo, Keith Baptista, Jenne Lombardo, Maluca Mala, Keith Baptista, Ben Pundole, Chelsea Leyland, Jordan Daly, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Alice Barlow, and Brad Fisher.

Other details: It was The Standard versus Milk Studios in a head-to-head hockey match on the hotel's home turf, a miniature rink on the corner of Washington and West 13th street, visible enough for passersby to stop and gawk at the fierce battle on the ice. Partly due to the unseasonably warm temperatures, a stylish crowd of designers, models, and party people (most likely the spill over from post NYFW shows and presentations at Milk Studios around the corner) formed to watch the bloodbath while guzzling beers and spiked hot chocolate. Though little protective gear was worn -- Milk Studios donned their classic black suits and The Standard's team rocked jerseys with the number "69" -- participants weren't afraid to throw in a hip-check in here and there to keep things interesting.
At half-time, rapper and songstress Maluca took to the ice with two back up dancers performing crowd pleasers, such as her catchy beat "Lola (Ging Danga)," while fans sang along and danced. Afterwards, onlookers and players packed inside The Standard for cocktails and more partying, making it by far the sharpest of all hockey matches.
