Swarovski and Pineda Covalin Celebrate International Women's Day

Other details: The spirit of Latin America was alive last night at the New Museum, where Swarovski and Mexican lifestyle brand Pineda Covalin celebrated International Women's Day and the opening of their new outpost in New York. Artists and activists, as well as special guests Marina Abramovic and Ana de la Reguera, mixed and mingled in the Skyroom to take in the designs promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women. Besides the colorful fashions gorgeously presented on an array of models, the walls were lined with wearable art - meticulously detailed and Swarovski-encrusted scarves. Between sips of champagne and bites of hors d'oeuvre mini-sliders, guests also enjoyed a jazz performance by Magos Herrera.
