8th Annual Charity: BallWhere: Duggal Greenhouse Other details: Last night in NYC, the international organization charity:water hosted their annual charity:ball at the Duggal Greenhouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The event brought out thousands of guests to Brooklyn to party and raise money and awareness for the cause of bringing clean drinking water to those around the world in need. The Caterpillar Foundation pledged $1000 for every person who took part in the Waterwalk, which is where guests carry gallons of water to experience what people around the world have to do for hours a day. Additionally, there was an auction held to raise additional money, with the proceeds going to help water projects in Malawi. Following the ball, VIP guests headed back into the city for the after-party at Finale where they continued to celebrate the success of the fundraising event.
