Other details: Last night the Tibet House hosted their 11th Annual Benefit Auction at Christie's. The event was held in conjunction with auction website Charitybuzz to help benefit the Tibet House US as well as the Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey. Actress and Tibet House Honorary Chair Member Uma Thurman attended the event and bid on items in the auction, as did filmmaker Arden Wohl and Le Bernardin chef Eric Ripert. Tibet House is a non-profit dedicated to preserving and restoring Tibet's unique culture.
