Other details: Last night Jill Stuart opened her new flagship store on Broome street with a party hosted by filmmaker and shoe designer Arden Wohl. The store fits right in with its Soho neighbors, featuring a minimalist interior with Corinthian columns in the middle as an added touch of refinement. Wohl was as sociable as always, bouncing around from corner to corner to chat with guests. The magnetic filmmaker even did an impromptu photo shoot in the window display to the delight of her friends. The ever-stylish Alix Brown and Tennesee Thomas were both DJ'ing the party, and while Brown played her buoyant selection of rock tunes without missing a beat, the birthday girl made sure to have a glass of champagne in hand the whole time.
