Other details: Last night, Atelier Swarovski celebrated its collection with designer Matthew Campbell Laurenza. The luxurious range is designed with Swarovski genuine gemstones, including Topaz, Sapphires, and Lapis. Fifteen breathtaking sculptures served as the backbone of the Jeweled Garden collection. An extravagant dragonfly, made up of 57,516 gemstones, greeted guests as they arrived at BG at Bergdorf Goodman for dinner. A royal blue Scorpion sculpture flanked the opposite side of the table, clocking in at 3,280 carats. WSJ’s David Thielebeule arrived early to check out the first Atelier collection with Swarovski gemstones. Thielebeule later caught up with Vogue’s Rickie de Sole. Bergdorf Goodman’s Linda Fargo came by to support Campbell Laurenza and continued to peruse the stunning gemstone line. The Veronica Beard duo chatted with Zani Gugelmann near the bar before joining Valerie Boster, Claire McKeon and Ferebee Taube at their table for dinner. Serving as table centerpieces, Campbell Laurenza’s collection was showcased underneath glass lids. The centerpieces took after ornate terrariums, mirroring the collection’s inspiration – the five senses experienced in nature. Following desert, the glass lids were lifted and guests tried on various pieces for size. Matthew Campbell Laurenza & Swarovski’s Stephen Kahler walked Cynthia Bardes through the line as she tried on a blue sapphire bracelet and matching cocktail ring. The collection marks the fourth year of partnership between Matthew Campbell Laurenza and Swarovski. The genuine gemstone pieces are available exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman.
