Other details: Guests enjoyed sipping on drinks at the bar, while waiting for others to arrive. An hour into the event, Peter Davis started his conversation. He talked about the trouble he faced getting the magazine to where it is today. He reminisced on moments such as friends defriending him on Facebook, the difficulty in finding good society columnist writers (most just write about their friends or themselves). He ended his conversation with the advice to "be nice to everyone," because you never know who could end up being your boss. He even mentioned a horror story about an intern who was asleep under the conference room table, wearing sunglasses.
