An Intimate Conversation with Deepak Chopra in Support of LIFE CAMP Inc.
Where: Penthouse at Hudson Hotel
Who was there: Guests included Deepak Chopra, Erica Ford, Eddie Stern, Michael Skolnik, Cheryl 'Salt' James, Kim James, Mary Alice Stephenson, Anne Dexter Jones, Robbie Nova, Gina Belafonte, Kheperah Pierce, Gabrielle Swan, Abigail Jorgensen, Rachel Goldstein, Harry Beee, Reshma Saujani, Rahem Lewis, Terrell Carter, Antone McMillan, Markesha Hill, and Juquille Johnston.
Other details: Surrounded by bright lights and the scaling buildings of Columbus Circle, GAB+AB transformed the penthouse at the Hudson Hotel into a peace haven for an intimate evening with Deepak Chopra and LIFE CAMP Inc’s Erica Ford.
Yogi Guru Eddie Stern and The Urban Yogis rolled out their mats, the lights were dimmed and amidst the hustle and bustle of midtown Manhattan, guests took one deep breath to celebrate Life Camp. Following the tragic murders of two community children in 2002, Erica Ford founded LIFE CAMP, with the goal to teach violence prevention in schools. By 2006, it had grown into a non-profit that not only focused on violence prevention, but also provided empowerment opportunities for youth who were educationally, economically, and socially disadvantaged.
