Other details: Last night, musically-charged menswear designer John Varvatos hosted the launch of his new book, John Varvatos: Rock in Fashion. With a boutique at the former site of legendary club CBGB, and a group of friends that includes Mick Rock, Lou Reed, and Iggy Pop, it's not surprising that the designer makes a major connection between fashion and rock 'n' roll.
As the long line of mostly leather-clad guests winded around Varvatos' SoHo location, the newly-penned author sat signing copies of his book, while greeting and posing with famous friends including actor Dylan Walsh.
Guests flipped through copies of the hardcover while sipping cocktails provided by Patron Silver Tequila and enjoying the rocking tunes of special guest DJ Bob Gruen
