Where: Tribeca Grand Hotel Other details: Last night at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, artist Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic hosted a party with Good Peoples to debut his newest piece. The artwork was created for the CFDA, and will be on display at the 2014 CFDA awards on Monday, so the event served as a preview of the work. Guests flooded into the Church Bar, where a large display showed the piece "Living Painting." While Aerosyn created actual paintings, the display at the party and the upcoming CFDA awards is a digital representation of the painting being created, allowing viewers to watch each calligraphic brushstroke and paint splatter slowly cover the canvas. Several screens were also displayed in the lobby, where Franco V was DJing and keeping the crowd moving.
