CFDA & Swarovski Celebrate 13 Years of Partnership With The 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards Swarovski Nominees

Other details: Last night, CFDA and Swarovski celebrated the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards Swarovski nominees. The 10 designers unveiled their ‘Lucky 13’ objects d’art, celebrating the 13th Swarovski anniversary of the partnership between the CFDA and Swarovski. The celebrated designers took to their own aesthetic to commemorate the occasion. Hood By Air’s Shayne Oliver outfitted a pair of classic Timberland boots with exaggerated Swarovski crystals, while Todd Snyder added some bling to a Brooklyn Nets jersey. iPads were stationed around the store, allowing guests to bid on the one-of-a-kind items. The Veronica Beard duo came by to support fellow CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists, as did Misha Nonoo. The fashion press was well represented. Vogue’s Selby Drummond & Rickie de Sole also swung by to support the future American design stars, as did Harper’s Bazaar’s Amanda Weiner & Sam Broekema. The crowd shined, outfitted in the nominated designers’ designs. Kirna Zabete’s Sarah Easley stunned in a pastel Wes Gordon frock, while posing for photos with the designer. Jennifer Fisher, wearing a Rosie Assoulin ruffled cotton poplin top, chatted with the designer on the sidelines. Later, Assoulin excitedly pointed out a partygoer wearing one of her shoulder-bearing tops. Night owls Mia Moretti and May Kwok stopped by to see fellow DJ Harley Viera-Newton spin tracks for the dazzling fashion crowd. The 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards Swarovski nominees include Wes Gordon, Todd Snyder, Jennifer Fisher, Rosie Assoulin, Marc Alary, Tim Coppens, Irene Neuwirth, Creatures of The Wind, and Hood by Air. A portion of the night’s proceeds benefited Free Arts NYC.
