Guests included: Last night, Kirsten Dunst and Curve’s Nevena Borissova hosted a book signing with Rodarte designers Kate & Laura Mulleavy. The NoHo space was packed with purveyors of cool. Dannijo’s Danielle Snyder and Leandra Medina arrived together, while Cecilia Dean came by early, chatting with the Mulleavy sisters. Snyder darted off to peruse Curve’s offerings, grabbing a Dannijo necklace for an “insta-op.” The fall collection was highlighted throughout the store. Sparkling pastel Rodarte frocks and an installation of the ‘Star Wars’ finale gowns greeted guests. Actress Kirsten Dunst stunned in a black and white Rodarte number from the runway. Dunst joined the Mulleavy sisters as they signed books with limited edition book covers by artist Rebekah Miles. Gigi Burris had a “fan girl “moment, asking the Rodarte designers to sign their infamous “Radarte” t-shirt. Michelle Harper and Jenny Shimizu swung by to support Kate & Laura Mulleavy, as did Joe Zee. Zee talked about his latest endeavor with Yahoo, hinting at the creation of a high-fashion digital magazine. Sydney Reising’s dog, Ruby, stole the show, charming partygoers and even photo bombing Karolina Kurkova on the step and repeat. Kurkova later caught up with stylist and street style star Anya Ziourova. Surrounded by rails of Rodarte, Curve owner, Nevena Borissova whisked around the store, mingling with guests. “[Rodarte has] the most incredible combination of fashion, art, and costume,” gushed Borissova. Star Wars, a source of inspiration for Fall 2014, was projected on the store’s wall, spotlighting costume’s influence on Rodarte’s intricate designs.
