Other details: Last night at Cipriani Wall Street, the New Museum hosted its Annual Spring Gala honoring architect Annabelle Selldorf and artist Lynda Benglis. The event was sponsored by Ferrari, which also lent one of their signature sports cars which was situated near the entrance as guests walked by. Inside much of the attention was drawn on actress Greta Gerwig, who was an honorary chair for the event. W Magazine's Stefano Tonchi was also an honorary chair, and spent time posing with his fashion cohorts Derek Blasberg and Karlie Kloss. After guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with music provided by DJ May Kwok, Simon de Pury auctioned off two portrait commissions by Alex Katz and Takashi Murakami. The winners contributed to the record $2.5 million total raised by the event. Following dinner, guests were treated to a performance by Swedish singer Lykke Li on the verge of her anticipated third album.
