Other details: On Thursday night, the new steakhouse NYY Steak opened on 51st Street. The 3-floor, 16,000 square foot space was opened in collaboration with Yankee Global Enterprises and Hard Rock International, and features prime USDA beef from an in-house butcher shop. For the opening, first baseman Mark Teixeira was on hand along with former center fielder Bernie Williams, Dwight Gooden, Roy White, and more. Williams even performed with his All Star Band for an amused crowd. Additionally, DuJour Magazine's Jason Binn showed up with Kris Jenner, drawing attention all night. New York Ranger great Mark Messier arrived as well, and "Bronx Bombers" star John Wernke arrived in his retro Yankees uniform.
